Writing Methods in Java

Methods are what an object can actually do, such as in our DrawingTool example:

myPencil.forward(100);
myPencil.turnLeft();

Revisiting our example from Lesson A2, we can see that we have already been using methods.

We wrote our own methods (DrawSquare, draw) and we used some methods from the DrawingTool class (forward, turnLeft).
